Cutipol needs no introduction. With nearly 60 years of history, it is one of the most recognized cutlery brands in the world. The time has come to introduce a brand-new online store and PRIMARIU was the agency responsible for designing and developing the new ecommerce platform.
The client was looking for a solution capable of meeting the main difficulties and complaints in its previous online purchase process. Currently, the new ecommerce platform is designed with the intent of filling huge gaps the previous one presented, namely, the inefficiency of business processes - such as the lack of integration with ERP or billing software - and the disorganized, unresponsive design, a result of outdated technology.
Placing great emphasis on the multiple order process, one of the main goals of this redesign was to improve the shopping experience - in just a few steps - and to correspond to usability needs felt until then. Developed in Magento 2, the current ecommerce platform has new features, such as full customization of the silverware, which features a wide variety of finishes.
Bearing in mind the power of whitespace, we have created a balance of content. In this online store, where no detail is left to chance, the design and quality of products are lifted to the highest level. We think of the user experience first, so today, either on desktop, mobile phone, or tablet, users take a minimal number of steps until the purchase is completed. Using strategic calls-to-action, navigation is intuitive and forwards users throughout the buyer’s journey.
In a tribute to the anniversary of the founder, José Ribeiro, the launch of the new B2C online store took place in February 2020, having, in just a few months, exceeded the brand's conversion goals and reached an impressive average CTR (Click Through Rate) of 13%.
An ecommerce project that reinvents itself every day and spreads Portugal to all around the world, including the USA, Hong Kong, UK, Germany, among other countries. In line with the business outlook, the development of a B2B platform is part of near-future plans.
